Father’s Day for Shelter Nova Scotia

Father's Day is just around the corner and it can be difficult to know just how to celebrate him.

Need some help? How about giving him something a little different this year while helping someone in crisis.

Annual Golf Classic

We regret to announce that our 2020 Golf Fundraiser event has been cancelled. Thank you for your generosity last year and we hope to bring back this kind of event in the future. For now, our priorities are focused on our COVID19 Protocol

On July 11, 2019 80 golfers participated in our 3rd Annual Golf Classic. Congratulations to the winning team Gratitude@work and to the most honest team Scotia Square. Together we raised $15,281.

So what does that mean for guests of Metro Turning Point? The funds you raised will ensure that 26 people will be able to stay at the emergency shelter.
(A night’s rest is $35.50, the average length of stay for men at Metro Turning Point is 16 nights. Knowing this we can calculate that the funds raised will aid 26 people)
