Don Spicer – Executive Director
Don is excited to lead a team of dedicated and caring men and women who are making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. He is responsible for the overall governance of Shelter Nova Scotia, fundraising and community/media relations.
Melissa Phillips – Director of Homelessness and Housing
Melissa is responsible for ending homelessness one person at a time. She leads our homeless shelters and supportive housing programs and makes sure that the men and women who come to us are supported in ways that meet them where they are and help them move forward.
Stacey Dort – Director of Community Corrections
Stacey is responsible for helping men and women change from prison living to community living. She leads our community corrections team and ensures our community remains safe while we do all that we can to help the men and women leaving prison.
Tammy Smith – Director of Human Resources
Tammy is responsible for connecting with our employees in ways that allow them to play to their strengths and hopes.
Danielle DeCoste – Director of Finance
Danielle is responsible for all matters financial. She oversees our financial accountabilities and reporting functions.
